Choose Your Challenge: 25 or 50 Miles
We have designed two stunning, fully signposted rural routes that showcase the very best of our local rolling hills and quiet country lanes.
- The 25-Mile Route: Perfect for casual riders, families with older children, or those returning to the saddle.
- The 50-Mile Route: Ideal for regular cyclists looking to test their legs and clock some serious weekend mileage.
Both routes start and finish at the welcoming Ousden Village Hall.
Event Timing & Rolling Start
There is no need to worry about the high-stress pressure of a mass start. We are operating a relaxed, rolling start from 10:00 AM – 12PM on Sunday, 5th July.

Entry Details
- Entry Fee: Only £20 per rider.
- Where It Goes: 100% of your entry fee supports the Ousden Village Hall Re-build Fund and the Cricket Club.
- What’s Included: Full route signposting, event support, and access to all the Ousden Village Hall facilities.

Hassle-Free Parking
We have plenty of signposted parking options available in Ousden to ensure a smooth arrival. You can park at:
- Ousden Village Hall (Main event hub)
- The Fox pub
- The bottom of Church Lane (Overspill parking, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Robinson)
Fuel Your Ride (and Your Spectators!)
We know that great cycling relies on great food. Ousden Village Hall will be turning into the ultimate refueling hub for riders and a fantastic hangout spot for spectators.
- From 10:00 AM: The Village Hall Cafe opens, serving freshly brewed tea, coffee, and a mountain of homemade cakes. Grab a slice before you roll out or while you watch the riders set off.
- From 12:00 PM: The lunchtime fun begins! A fully fired-up BBQ and licensed bar will be open. It is the perfect setup for finishing riders to swap stories and for spectators to enjoy the afternoon sun.
Fun for the Whole Family
Because this sportive is part of the Let’s Play Sport initiative, the day is about much more than just cycling. Bring the kids, your partners, and your friends. While you are out conquering the lanes, they can take part in a variety of sports activities designed for all ages and skill levels, run by the Lidgate & Ousden Cricket Club.
