1. Nomination of Trustees

  • Chair Person- Chris Ingham -proposed by Jessamy and seconded by Sylvia
  • Vice Chair -Celia Holt proposed by Emma and seconded by Nicki
  • Treasurer – Jessamy proposed by Chris and seconded by Sylvia
  • Secretary – Emma proposed by Jessamy and seconded by Katie
  • Bookings Clerk -Emma proposed by Chris and seconded by Celia
  • Co-opted trustee -cricket club – Roderick Duncan -proposed by Chris and seconded by Emma
  • Co-opted trustee – architect- David Parsons proposed by Chris and seconded by Celia
  • Custodian trustee – Parish Council -John Gale
  • Co-opted trustee – Fiona Bills- PC rep proposed by Chris and seconded by Jessamy

There was one resignation during the year. Julie Pryke has been removed from our list of committee members now that she has moved from the village.
Emma Hunter and Mary Burr are both willing to continue in their roles as Trustees.

2. Nominations of other Committee members

  • Jess Pettitt – Playground sub -committee
  • Emily Cable – committee.
  • Michelle Parsons – Committee -to take minutes of committee meetings

Newly elected members, Nicki and Ian, were asked to send a letter to us confirming their Trustee nomination from the Bowls Club and the church. The Cricket Club had already done so on behalf of Roderick.


3. Approval of minutes of last AGM 2024: these were approved and signed.There were no matters arising


4. Chairs Report – this had been sent out previously by email but Chris read out the account of another successful year’s events and fundraising.

  1. Treasurer’s Report: Jessamy presented the signed accounts and report for the year ending 31st August 2025.
    These had been audited in October by Hilary Seaward. Jessamy stated her intention to step down as Treasurer as soon as possible.
    A new accounting system will be discussed shortly. Total funds this year were £88,230 and in 2024 were £76,010.
    It was a very productive year and the Trustees are grateful to the Parish Council and people in the village for their continued support.
  2. A0B: Celia gave an update about progression with the new hall. We are still waiting for news from the National Lottery fund which is due any time soon. Regular meetings had taken place during the year, led by Celia and attended by architects and other committee members.
