- Matters Arising: Chris welcomed all new members elected on to the committee. Minutes of meeting held on 23 rd October were read out. Matters arising- Roderick mentioned that the biodiversity plan had been delayed. Nicki said that Emily had contact with Wills Estate if we need it.
- Finance: We were brought up to date with this at the AGM. In the light of Jessamy ‘s intention to step down as Treasurer, we discussed the plan for a new accounting system. There was discussion about the present one being used at the same time as a new one, which we are hoping to trial. There are 2 options- to continue with the old system or try the new one which imports the information from the bank directly to the spread sheet. Jessamy feels that this new system is more complicated but is willing to give it a try unless somebody else wishes to take it on. Fiona offered to think about taking on the role in the future.
- Health and Safety: -The policy needs reviewing in January. The fire alarm system needs servicing- Chris to action both. The monthly playground inspection had taken place as usual and now that we have 2 new members (Jess and Pete) willing to help. Chris will forward the reports each month. The fences have been mended at a cost of £400 = VAT. Roderick has starting clearing the boundary of the field of brambles and shrubbery for the cricketers and has done an excellent job.
- Confirmation of election of Trustees and committee members: Mary and Emma remain Trustees in addition to Chris (Chair), Celia (Vice Chair), Jessamy (Treasurer). We have now elected Roderick as a full trustee representing the Cricket Club, Fiona as Parish Council trustee rep and Nicki as Church rep. Michelle has agreed to be a committee member and take minutes of meetings and liaise with Chris and Emma. Emma will be secretary and take bookings with Chris. John becomes a custodian Trustee. Pete and Jess- become playground representatives and committee members, David is a co- opted trustee as architect rep and Ian is representing the Bowls Club. Katie and Emily are both committee members.
- Lettings: Tracy has been contacted about future dog training. Nicki would like to hold a Church Breakfast in February. Café Stop morning in November and to
continue from January 25th. Poster needs updating. - Future events – Jess to arrange May farm walk with Nicki, Chris and Jessamy. A yearly calendar of events is suggested for advertising on website. Festive Bingo on 6th December now being organised.
