With an upbeat soundtrack of music playing, we use body weight only, dumbbells and/or resistance bands to work through a varying series of exercises to maintain or improve our strength, bone density, balance and endurance.
A small group of mixed aged people from Ousden and nearby villages meet together to make strength training fun and sociable.
The sessions are created and led by a qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach with many years of experience. The Trainer demonstrates the exercises and explains all development options, and individually adjusts posture and movement dynamic in order to make exercising as safe and rewarding as possible. At these sessions the focus can be on lighter work in order to maintain muscle strength or when returning from injury, or on increasing load or resistance to increase strength.
